I Can't Wait to See You...
I'm so excited to see you at my workshop. This page will give you all the information you need to find my studio and to get the best out of your time spent with me.
How to find us…
The address for the workshop is: Moorland View, Foolow, Nr Eyam, Hope Valley, S32 5QA. The studio is in a large double door garage with our sign on it. If you get lost then just phone me on 07807743704 and I’ll direct you/come and find you.
You can click on the 'directions' link below or use Google to search for "Frances and Rose" and use the maps function to find our exact location. Please do not just type 'Moorland View' into Google, there is somewhere not too far from us with the same name and it has sent people to the wrong place before.
There is on street parking all over the village, please just be vigilant of peoples driveways and passing spaces - there are lorries and tractors making their way through the village throughout the day.
Access...
The workshop is all on one level with no steps in, the drive is pebbled but very short. We have a toilet in the building next door to the studio and there are two small steps up to the building. We are able to provide a ramp for the two steps, if you think you might need this then please let us know ahead of time so we can have this ready. We like to take the workshop stood up and we work on my workshop tables which are at a safe height for working. There will also be seats available if you would like to use them at any point.
If you would like to have someone else with you to help with your project then that is fine and won’t require any additional cost, I just ask that you let me know in advance and as soon as possible so I can make sure there will be adequate space.
What to wear...
The studio can get chilly at times, even on a sunny day, we have a heater to keep us toasty, but layers and thick socks are definitely advised in winter. Light layers are always a good idea when you're at the mercy of the British weather. The workshop will get a bit messy as we work so please wear sensible clothing as pale colours and expensive garments aren't the best thing for getting creative and messy. I do have aprons available to borrow.
What to bring...
You only need to bring yourself, but I would recommend making sure there is space in your car for taking your creation home with you, you don’t want it slung in the back with things rolling over and crashing into it or its likely to get damaged.
I really look forward to seeing you at the workshop and if you need any more information beforehand then just get in touch.
See you there!
Marianne x
