Just a quick one today, but we really wanted to share some photos of our latest work for the gorgeous Haddon Hall in Bakewell! It’s one of our very favorite Derbyshire wedding venues and we were lucky enough to be commissioned to create floral displays for a private party for Lord and Lady Manners.
We used fresh seasonal greenery to garland two of the dinner tables, adding red roses and dark berries in one to reflect the beautiful hand painted roses on the ceiling and the dark glamour of the stunning wood panelled parlour and adding paler colours and scent with hyacinths and rosemary to the brighter upstairs gallery room.
We we’re so lucky with the light on the day, we’ve not been blessed with any nice weather recently, just wind and rain and snow, but the sun seemed to know we needed it that day and we set up with the winter light beaming through the incredible windows! And even more lucky still, we got a steaming cuppa to keep us warm, lovingly made by Julie and served on a make-shift tray using the kitchen sign! Amazing improvisation Julie :)
I hope the guests enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed making it!
